Adding a Download Link to WordPress

If you’re running a website or blog, chances are you’ll need to add a download link at some point. Whether it’s a file you want to share with your audience or a free resource you’re offering, it’s fairly easy to add a download link to your WordPress site.

Step 1: Upload Your File

Option 2: Use the Insert Link Button

Alternatively, you can simply add the download link to your content using the “Insert Link” button in your editor. Simply place your cursor where you want the link to appear and click the button. Paste your file URL into the “URL” field and click “Add Link.”

Step 4: Test Your Link

Once you’ve inserted your download link, it’s important to test it to make sure it’s working properly. Click on the link and verify that it opens the file or resource you intended.
